ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is RJ Guilfoyle (he/him, they/them)

I’m a queer Rhode Island artist with a background in digital illustration, comics, and printmaking. Due to my love of comics, manga, and music, I have developed a sort of obsession with working in ink and trying to tackle the issue of “voice” through various artistic media.
I’ve taught various drawing classes since 2015 for ages 8-18, and have been working as an independent artist since 2014. In 2019 I graduated from Rhode Island College with a BFA in printmaking. Since then, I’ve been dedicating my time to finding new methods of portraying the absurdity of life in a way that can connect with a vast array of different kinds of people.
